MY-WAY has organised its first Stakeholders Meeting on 12 November 2015 with the aim of engaging key players of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in outlining and sustaining new cooperation avenues with students support centres, to better help young prospective entrepreneurs to successfully launch their business ideas.
In-person participants were carefully selected based on their profile and their role within the ecosystem; among others, they represented students networks, accelerators, mentors, startups, prospective entrepreneurs, universities, incubators.
In the first part of the day, the Startup Europe initiative and the MY-WAY project were presented, to let participants better understand the scope, objectives and results achieved so far. In particular, the focus was put on MY-WAY’s mapping tool, on our surveys and interviews, and on the analysis of the case studies we collected.
All our final reports are publicly available and we would love to hear your comments on them! Please find our work here: http://www.mywaystartup.eu/public_documents
During the afternoon, participants were divided into two groups to reflect upon specific issues and challenges, with a view to provide clear and practical directions towards potential future developments of the services offered by students support centres.
The full event was live streamed with great success; you may access the recorded videos on MY-WAY’s UStream channel.
We will soon publish pictures from the event and the final results: stay tuned!
A big thanks to all in-person participants for their unique and valuable contribution, and to all those who followed us online live! Keep sharing your comments and questions with us by Tweeting to @My_WayProject and using the hashtags #Yentrepreneur and #StartupEU.
