WELCOME is looking for nine top-notch European startups ready to pack their bags and embark on an international adventure that will bring their business to the next level! Startups based in Berlin, Dublin, Madrid, Milan and Salamanca are invited to apply and take their chance on being selected for this opportunity.

The best nine European teams will leave for a journey that will start in Milan and will end up in Dublin passing through Berlin, Madrid and Salamanca; including a three week startup school in San Francisco.

In Europe, selected startups, will be introduced to the local startups scene and will have the opportunity to meet and pitch in front of the most active investors, media and opinion leaders by attending an ad hoc event organized by Dpixel (Milan, 16th-18th May), Startup Europe Summit (Berlin, 9th-10th June), South Summit (Madrid, 5th-7th October) and Dublin Tech Meeting (Dublin, 26th-27th October).

While in San Francisco (September 2016), selected startups will join a three-week immersion program at the Mind The Bridge Startup School where they will fine-tune their investor pitch and gain the contacts and knowledge for a soft-landing in Silicon Valley.

These activities will be at no cost to entrepreneurs -- selected startups will receive a full waiver for the Silicon Valley School tuition for one founder, and a 50% discount for additional co-founders, while travel & accommodation expenses for the Silicon Valley trip (for one founder ) and the European Roadshow (for two co-founders) will be covered by WELCOME.

WELCOME is a project developed under the Startup Europe Initiative and funded by the European Commission that enables tech entrepreneurs to grow their business across borders and to get access to the right combination of funding. To achieve this goal WELCOME lays the bridges for startups in five vibrant EU ecosystems — Berlin, Dublin, Milan, Madrid and Salamanca— by connecting them to the key players in each environment.
